Maybe I'm wrong (and I kinda hope I am), but I just don't see Sather bringing in MSL then shipping his buddy off a couple months later.

I think one of the main reasons we got him was to get Richards to the next level.

It really depends how these 20 games go. If MSL nets 30 points, and Richards 25, you don't keep him? IF.

It's easy to say this without explaining how you replace him.

Who are we gonna get and for what kind of deal? We almost just paid Callahan $6.2M. What are we gonna pay a 1/2C?

Richards' contract isn't good, but given his production this year and possible step up with MSL, it doesnt look *that* bad compared to some of the new UFA deals being thrown around.
