This was painful, extremely painful. I thought we played pretty good. Yeah, they worked hard but their goals were unbelievable with the bounces that they got, a couple of deflections and post and in.
It’s a tough end to this game. We worked ourselves back in it and created a lot of chances and played really well in the net.
When you give up six goals it’s not good enough but thinking of the goals right now, it’s some tough plays.
I tried to be in good position, but against Boston it’s about winning the battles in front of both nets.
That’s where these games get decided and they are really good around the net making quick plays and getting to loose plucks. It’s disappointing.

The first period I thought we dominated. The second period we did have a few shifts in our end back to back where they gained some momentum and they hurt us off of it.
The third period, you start cheating and a team like Boston, they’ll bite you if you can make those mistakes.

Are there things that we could have done better or did we meet two goaltenders that were on top of their game?
I thought Rask played one of the best first periods I’ve seen a goaltender play against us. Boston has done that in the three games that we played against them.
In the fist game in this building it was sort of the same scenario where we outplayed them and outchanced them and couldn’t score.
In the Boston one we were up 2-1 going into the third and we gave them three chances and they scored twice.
