[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We’re just competing hard, we stick to each other as a team.
When somebody makes a mistake, there’s always someone there to help out. We can build on that.
- Derick Brassard

We had some bounces going our way in the end and then the guys came up with a big play the last couple of minutes there.
After that, it was mayhem. You try to be in good position. I did my part.
The guys in front of me were laying all over the place and trying to do their part.
I love the way we’ve been playing the last two games and the way we’ve been competing.
- Henrik Lundqvist

In our last three road games, other than the second one in Jersey, I’m very happy with how we played. The last two buildings are very tough buildings.
We came into it and I thought we played real solid. Tonight when they tied it up, we had a real strong push after.
We got the game winner and, no doubt, got some solid goaltending these two games. The guys in front of Hank competed real hard.
- Alain Vigneault

Attn all mods:

I ask again...why can't Pre-Game Threads be MERGED into GDT's?

I like how Nash still has the highest SOG for the team. And he's been out for, what...16 games?

Someone mentioned this in the pre game thread - Freaking NHL Network again....makes having NHL.tv absolutely useless. Two games in a row blacked out. ridiculous.

With that said, LGR. And Lets go Don La Greca..

Wow. Rough week for Fast.

Real excited to see Eric Staal out there.

One low-key thing that we're all forgetting about is how tough it is for new players to come in and learn AV's man-to-man d-zone coverage. Needs to be a lot of communication out there tonight.

Big game for Raanta, too. Need him to get his confidence back. A lot of minutes on Hank's legs this year.

eric staal should be on 2nd line.

Kreider-Brassard-Zuc
Miller-Staal-Nash
Lindberg-Stepan-Fast
Moore-Hayes-Stalberg

Really wouldn't mind rolling with this for center depth even though it limits Hayes. If Hayes can play wing adequately than

Kreider-Brassard-Zuc
Miller-Staal-Nash
Hayes-Stepan-Lindberg
Stalberg-Moore-Fast

Regardless if we don't experiment with Nash and Staal it's an atrocity.
