Not how I would phrase it.

“He’s in a lot better place now,” Quinn said. “As much as I think he was physically scarred by it, he’s been emotionally scarred by it. It gives you a cold dose of reality when you go through something like that. You feel so fortunate. He’s getting back to his old self, and he’ll be back on the ice soon.”

Ah yes, I misread that quote, thank you! Mix of both then.

Need this W. Kakko gets one tonight. Last time I did this he actually did get one. He's due.

I want a game where he gets like 10 SH attempts and 6 SOG. I feel like he looks for the perfect opportunity and doesn't have confidence in his shot vs NHL goalies when he should shoot more and he might get a lucky bounce.

That's the Montréal I remember from when I was 8.
It’s the Quebec I continue to encounter. I visit Gatineau several times a year and Montreal at least once a year. I also grew up around a lot of snowbirds from Montreal. Same story every time — except the anglophones (eg from the West Island).

Hope Buch is in the lineup against Philly. I understand if it’s physical but if it’s emotional it’s time to get back on the ice. It’s like a fighter pilot with a scare, get them back into the cockpit and in the sky to return to normalcy.

Maybe he'll even be a whole new & improved player that he went through such a scary experience that puts things into perspective

Yeah, Buchnevich was oddly cheerful and Quinn decided to hold him off until he gets to his typical grumpy disposition.

His evolution as a person & teammate is perhaps even better than his evolution as a player, just to spite all the naysayers on Ranger twitter & the Blueshirt Bozos

Amazing how kids get written off so quickly while this “evolution as a person . . . “ emerges at only 24 years of age. Meanwhile, DuClair is only 24 too.

Absolutely. I lost $300 to a guy who wanted to bet that the Knights would make the Cup Finals their first year in the league. I felt bad cause he doesn't really know hockey that well, he was born in Vegas and was just being prideful about it. Boy was I mad.
In my bracket that year I actually predicted the Caps winning the cup over Vegas in the final

My goodness....Lindgren/Fox our top pairing this year. who saw that coming? I'm wearing shades bc the future is bright.
Lindgren has been one of the most pleasant surprises of the season, I remember everyone having Hajek penciled in and Lindgren was seen as just another prospect lost in our deep sea of LD prospects. Hajek looked horrendous this season, which is odd considering in his call up last year I thought he looked great. I can't wait to see the likes of Lindgren, Lemieux & DeAngelo in the playoffs; I just know they're going to thrive under that pressure and intensity. Lindgren & Lemieux sacrifice their bodies to a comical extent they're like the over exaggerated meme of a stereotypical hockey player, black and blue missing teeth with cuts all over their face, they're probably both going to break a few bones & contract the coronavirus by the time the seasons over.
