It would be interesting if teams had the option to decline a penalty shot and take a penalty. Ducks would have done that rather than have harkins take the shot and then revert to a man down.

Two rule changes that make sense to me are:
1. If you're on the PP to end a period, you start the next in the offensive zone.
2. If you're awarded a penalty shot and you fail, you should still get the PP.
