I think I have an answer, if not the answer, if the story is righthas this ever happened! where a player gets named capt. and then chucked to the 4th line ?

ps hey Torts... maybe, just maybe if you didnt run ur guys at 110% every day. they wouldnt be worse down at 3/4 of the season..

In the early years of the Lightning, they did not have a captain until like their 4th year. Terry Crisp was the coach came to Phil Esposito who was the GM (and the lamenting storyteller) and said he wanted a captain as the Lightning were having their first good season in 95-96.
However it was decided, Paul Ysebart was the choice, and he was named captain. Soon after, and I do think it was the next game, Ysebart was immediately scratched. So, that obviously annoyed everyone.
