You need true quality goaltending to make that work. Not with the mediocre stuff, and undervaluing/poor scouting of the position.

Curious what Briere does this summer with the goaltenders.

If I get to make some decisions for a junior team or Euro pro one day I will be very happy. Albeit tbh just doing what I am doing now would be beyond what I could have ever imagined even a few years ago.

Fun enough having input that is listened to seriously at a pretty damn good junior team... and interesting and eye-opening too.

Going to be surreal when guys like Shilov, Fedotov, Ignatavicius are drafted in 2026... though I have my fingers crossed than Henriquez will this summer!

The craziest bit though is having guys in my phonebook now I used to watch play 10-20 years ago!

I keep saying, I hit a couple billion dollar lottos, we're taking this team over and doing it right. (Though real talk, I hit one, and I call up Pierre-Karl Peladeau and see about becoming Quebec's favorite American; that'd be cheaper and would get me Canadian citizenship.)
