The day the Flyers acquired Darryl Sittler, Bobby Clarke was diagnosed with a broken foot and he missed about a month-and-a-half. Thing is he played on a broken foot for a few games because it was initially diagnosed as a bruise. A guy on your local team (name escapes me) scored five goals against the Flyers the night that Sittler-Clarke debuted as a tandem.
