Meh. The already slim playoff potential is officially gone so kinda hard to muster interest for the rest of the season. Just want Leo to keep it going.

I'd like to see this team continue to play like they have a chance (which they do, but slim) rather than roll over and die like past seasons. I usually prefer the higher draft pick, but this year we need to build some additional confidence in these young ducks.

If they beat the Blues, maybe they'll trade Fowler to a contender ? I'd like to see Cam in the playoffs and in STL it just isn't gonna happen and the Blues honestly need to blow it up and rebuild already. Their window is slammed shut and at best next year they'll be the minnesota wild of previous decade and just get blown out in the 1st round as the 8th seed.

They should do a welcome back Fowler tshirt giveaway tonight.

Oh yeah, there’s a game tonight.

Expect a video tribute and a warm ovation for Cam (of which, despite my numerous posts about him on this board, I will be a part of)
It sucks he won't get to be in the playoffs this year and next season I expect the Ducks to improve and the Blues to regress more with an aging roster. They have 10 players in their 30s and 1 40yearold in Suter.

If the trade deadline wasn’t today, maybe

Even if the Ducks made the playoffs, they'd easily get swept.

Things to look forward to for the rest of the season:

1) Jackson Lacombe - Is this real or an unreal heater?

2) Gauthier, McTavish, Colangelo line - The start of a dominant line?

3) Minty & Zelly - Can they show us big signs they're improving, now that they'll be in every game?

4) Cronin - Will he show the fans that he has a clue in what he's doing?

5) Playoff contention - The Ducks aren't out, but the road tougher as the contenders loaded up. Can the team rally?

Wow, some of you give up easy on playoffs. Chip and a chair, guys!

Win tonight and we 5pts out with 20games left. I'll take slim any day over zero. It's not like the teams fighting for that last wildcard spot improved any really today.

I'm saving my playoff angst for years when we're good. I hope to be angsting along with everyone next season. Of course I'm rooting for them to win every game and sneak into the playoffs. That would be amazing. But it's too much of a longshot to truly hope.

Verbeek put it best on the podcast today when he said we’re in this thing and we play all the teams in front of us, some multiple times. In alot of ways, Anaheim does control its own destiny. Starts tonight.

Fire up!!!

I’ll be a few miller lites in and yelling at my TV here in St. Croix County, WI. You’ll hear me from the west coast. BIG GAME, fellas!

Have to jump 4 teams to get in and don’t have the tiebreaker on any of them (Ducks actually have the third lowest regulation win total in the conference, ahead of just Chicago and San Jose, even Nashville has more)
