it be very disappointing if we lost this game. the flyers ****ing suck and the only reason this game is close is because weve ****ed up such glorious chances in this game to make it 5 or 6-3 by now.

Really want to see Hank come up with that save, but holy hell, the PK really gave Simmonds all the time in the world there to step into the faceoff circle and fire one in. Still, need Hank to bail us out.

Win the period and get a point.
 
Yeah some good signs. These are tough games. Think about the games before the break - Colorado, at Pittsburgh, then Chicago and now at Philly.

The team is playing well. They're getting chances. Just because they're not burying them doesn't mean they're not playing well.

i agree...but, to be fair, he has been out a long time. very irritated by his play, for sure. but probably to be expected, to an extent.

Anyone can miss a net ... that doesn't "bother" me as much as it bothers others ... shake it off and get more pucks to the net. I just want to see MSL on this team and add another elite scorer.

Never. Hank can have a shutout and people will still complain. Miller could have a hat trick and miss the open net and people will still *****. Same people same bs.

I agree. the rangers are dominating IMO. Its only a matter of time before we gets this game tied
 
I think Moore was put in because of Philly's toughness or whatever. AV overthought this one and we'd probably be leading this game with Moore in. Could have easily prevented this, the coach, Hank, and Miller dropped the ball.
 
I think we're gonna get at least a point in this one. I actually think we win in the SO but between the missed open nets, Hank not looking sharp and the fact that it's the Flyers and important points, it's just a frustrating game to watch. For some reason I was expecting a nice easy win in this afternoon game. Maybe it was just being in a good mood, expecting a good hockey game.

Is Hank having a bad game? YES
Are we not playing our best defensive game? YES

We are also playing a tough divisional game, on the road, with 3 games in 4 night coming up and we have been RED HOT ... so excuse me for cutting the team some slack ... ESPECIALLY Hank who has bailed this team out on more nights than I can count.

It's a good thing he's been out for a long time, or there'd be ten more recent examples of plays like that. That's all he does. Oh, he loses fights too.

Miller would be in regardless.
 
We're playing well but each of Kreider, Miller, Hagelin, and Boyle have missed wide open nets. Their third goal was soft but then again so was our second.
