Yea. The mhl is the young guy group (like the chl). That’s dope. But isn’t the MHL a downgrade from the VHL? Wonder why the demotion.
He was playing pretty poorly in the VHL, likely sent him down to build his confidence. He's a developmental prospect at this point, value has dropped quite a bit since we drafted him but I'm not going to give up on him and this isn't uncommon for Russian prospects, it's pretty hard to break into the big boy leagues there as a kid. He is still just 19.That’s dope. But isn’t the MHL a downgrade from the VHL? Wonder why the demotion.

I'd say sure if we have the AHL situation sorted out next year but that's yet to be seen. ECHL to me is a complete waste of time for any skater prospect and would be the absolute last place I'd put any prospect we think has even the slimmest chance of a future with us.Id like him to come to NA either Echl or AHL for a couple of years to see where he develops
So is this now a single edged sword?Great skill, definitely a sniper. I think on early impressions he’s a more dangerous all around offensive player than Gunler while having a more NHL adaptable game. Double edged sword here, we got a guy who looks like a first rounder on skill because we took the political chance. Now we deal with the political chance for who knows how long and if the guy even wants to be here. A good chance to take, wish we had more higher up picks to make it less risky.
Just scanned a couple scouting reports from his draft year and the comparisons were to Blake Coleman and Jason Robertson, take that as you will I suppose…So is this now a single edged sword?
Who is Glebs comp in terms of playstyle and ceiling?
Yes we took a risk and have “won” in that we got the player. I’ve never known or understood the Russian development path very well so while it feels like there hasn’t been a ton of development or that he’s delayed a bit that could be completely off base and purely the politics of his environment. Russians are tough, we don’t have a ton of middle range guys that come for long careers so the comparisons aren’t as easy as other countries and my mind tends to make comparisons within countrymen when it comes to Euros as they so often carry those similar traits. No exception here as he played like a creative Russian winger who focuses more on attacking the net with one on one skills and sniping vs playmaking. I could see him as a Sharangovich prior to this years explosion, I don’t know that it’s fair to expect what’s currently going on there. Blake Coleman feels like a stretch, they talk about some good two way play at times but Coleman is a stud at what he does. I watched some videos where he was projected as a middle six type, and I think that’s where our hope is.So is this now a single edged sword?

Am I an idiot or could those 2 players not be more different? LolJust scanned a couple scouting reports from his draft year and the comparisons were to Blake Coleman and Jason Robertson, take that as you will I suppose…
That’s exactly what I thought!Am I an idiot or could those 2 players not be more different? Lol
24-25. I guess he could sign an ATO with a team of our choosing. But we likely tell him to start training insteadSo is Trikozov going to play in AHl right now?
Or does he have to wait until 24-25?
Guess the scouts were trying to cover all bases? HehAm I an idiot or could those 2 players not be more different? Lol

It might be a mutual thing where he wants to go back to the KHL vs. playing in the AHL and the team is scratching him for that reason. He hasn't exactly done much in the AHL though, so maybe the scratch is warranted, although nobody has done much on the Wolves so far. Through 6 games there are 3 players with 3 points and everybody else has 1 or zero.Uhhh, that doesn't seem good. Unless I'm misreading this and he's getting called up to the NHL?
Surprising how bad that Wolves have been.It might be a mutual thing where he wants to go back to the KHL vs. playing in the AHL and the team is scratching him for that reason.
