How can you fault Ersson when Malkin literally stood 4 feet away and had time to pick his spot?

Mich was a little too focused on his potential first hatty, which is understandable, but his decision making suffered for it in pretty obvious fashion. Great game overall with 3 more points tho.

I think it had more to do with Ersson turning into a pumpkin then the hit. In fact they scored on the ensuing power play.

If the coach had kept rotating his lines instead of throwing just cates line out there every other shift the game may have ended differently

Disappointing. Good start but things didn't go their way. I think the Kuzmenko goal should have counted and it should have been a major for that obvious headshot to Hathaway. Ersson does look like he's getting tired.

A game we probably should have had DesLauriers in for payback (as bad of a player as he is). That incident seemed to take a little out of them

Michkov was really good though. Love that guy.
