While G was vs Chara and Krejci, Raffl did nothing to help.

Yeh, that was ridiculous... Giroux wins the initial battle with Chara to get body position, corrals the puck, Krejci comes in and he gets by him... and then has no passing options either side, and no-one with him so they can tie up the puck on the boards again.

Raffl has to either engage or move into the space up the boards for G to ring the puck round.
