I think the Jets are icing the youngest roster in the NHL right now... says something for the organization's development.
By my calcs, 4th youngest, but your point is still very valid.

I pulled the numbers from Natural Stattrick: it looks like they just list all players who've been on the Jets roster, so they've got Buff and Ehlers listed, but they also have Schilling, Niku, Nogier, etc listed as well. If they're not the youngest, they're within a whisker.

This is rather incredible all things considered.
Also makes what Tampa is doing all the more insane.
If I could take a snapshot in time I'd love the regular season to end with the exact order we see this morning. Minny would be the 8th seed and face Calgary in the Pacific. The other series in the pacific would be SJ home to LV. In the Central we would be the 1st seed home to the Avs, and Nashville would be the 2nd seed home to the Stars. I'd take those match ups.

This is why I have no idea why people are so stressed about this team. We have more segments above the pace, then on the pace. Combining at pace, and below pace, and we're even.
ONE. One segment below the pace.
Ultra consistent team. Without Buff and Ehlers, with our Marquee player playing the worst hockey of his Career, and we're still doing great.

We were 6 up before that segment, and missed 3 in the last one. 6-3=3.
I double checked each segment and it seems right.

Shows how weak the Central is this year that we are up 3 over the playoff line (6 in 5) yet we have a firm lead for first and at worst will finish second

I think there should be one banner for divisional wins, and if you win, you add a year to the list.
