Thank God we’re playing Vancouver, now I won’t have to hear how bad Trouba is for one game:sarcasm:
 
Really with we had Petterson. Pisses me off how we missed out cuz of two draft spots. And the Yankees missed out on Trout cuz of 1 draft spot.

Tell you honestly when I looked at the schedule I thought to myself no way we can come out strong. Just impossible to get into game shape and look sharp against teams that are playing their way thru. I’m not surprised with how we’ve played. But if we can get thru this weekend 3-3 I think we’ll have survived it.

what I am surprised at is how incoherent and bizarre Quinn’s pregame presser was. And how he’s handling the lineup.

I disagree with the Brendan Smith hate he’s done everything you could ask for. Solid up front and solid on the pk

but I don’t understand the leash Buch is getting. I don’t understand why Kakko has not gotten a look with Mika at even strength or on the pp and I don’t understand at this point why he’s tried everything except Lias at 2C when others have looked far worse but even more so I don’t know what Chytil is doing in the A still. He’s dominating at center down there right now. And we have a massive hole thats his to fill.

Well this is a frustrating alignment- A NYR game at 1, a Giants game at 1, and a Red Bulls playoff game at 3.
 
The lineup is all over the place. I'd honestly like to see Kakko with two guys who will dig the puck out for him, ie Lias and Fast/Lemieux .I just feel hes closer to Laine than a Nylander type at this point and needs help with the dirty work at this age. Just my opinion.

What leash exactly is Buch getting? He has 4 points in 5 games and just scored a goal. He is getting time up there because there isnt a better option. I dont understand the criticism he gets. He could put up 60-70 points and people would still have a problem with him on the top line.

The middle six should really just be thought of as 3A and 3B. It'll lower your blood pressure.
