Devils looks like they have a really good team this year, have watched a few of their games.
So far today they look completely neutered, that's a good sign.

That is one period and our lack of shooters is an issue.

Our power play has Mika as our go to shooter on the wing and Shattenkirk who can't shoot from the point all the time because of possible turnovers at the line.
 
Wish the team can be as consistent as Pidto timing his MSG 150s.
 
Does anyone know what this "finger pointing" talk is about?

I didn't think our players and our locker room is about finger pointing and blaming.

I wonder where that's coming from.
 
We have a bunch of guys scoring way below their usual pace, the offense will come around.

We've been the best shooting team in the league for four years and one of the worst defensive teams.

Defense is still abhorrent, and we're still blaming the shooting.

Came into this league by following Carl Söderberg after moving from my home team in the SHL to the Bruins.
That picture is Claude Julien merged with a blobfish, it's stupid but I like it...:laugh:
 
McDonagh-ADA pairing has stuck into the second period. Interesting. I imagine Holden is still the fallback option once ADA makes a mistake.

What f***ing chances? We're abysmal at generating chances and have been for years.

Mostly because we spend 40 minutes every night chasing the puck around our own zone but we'll do anything to keep from talking about that.

Defense is bad, yes. Still need to put the puck in the net. Makes scoring a bit more important, no?
