It could be a long year. Still real early, but we’re so out of sync.

A lot of our guys look like they’re taking the year off. Maybe some of them didn’t want to play this year. Fox, Buch, Howden, Miller and Chytil have been bright spots. Everyone else looks really rough. KK has looked nice too. Laf needs confidence.

Strome clearly doesn’t cut it as a 2C. He caught lightning in a bottle last year (contract year... go figure) but he doesn’t belong. I defended Trouba all last year and still respect that he takes tougher minutes and I really want to like him but 8M just sucks. Since getting here I’m not even sure he’s been a 5.5M guy. I think that contract is gonna hurt worse than Kreider, who is coming on slowly and is what he is. I expect him to age well enough.

But god, do we need another center, especially with Chytil out.

He hasn’t been healthy since the beginning of the year which is a big issue right now

should have sold high on him. he always gets hurt once or twice a year. will only get worse as he ages. I like him but seems to get hurt at the worst time

it's getting to the point where the seat should be hot and a few more games like this he'll need to go. you need to evaluate early. this entire rebuild hinges on player development. that's what quinn was brought in to do. it's not happening.

I said it earlier. I wholeheartedly trust the posters here over Quinn when it comes to line ups.

I think I do too. Probably not the fanbase on the whole, but I'd be pretty pumped if we could all decide the lines, pairings, and special team units from HFNYR.

No Johnson; Fox and ADA with full reign of their PP units; and actual accountability for our marquee players.
