I grew up on 3 card guts. Man people haven’t lived till they have had their car keys in the pot.

After high school I worked one year in the mine, so living at home had tons of cash

Always wondered where guts came from as almost every gambler I’ve met in Winnipeg doesn’t know it. But man in northern Manitoba lol

I’ve never heard anyone even claim to know the origins, but there was a home game in Vegas I frequented years ago that played a thoroughly evil High/Low Guts variation where you started with 2 separate pots, got dealt 4 cards, declared High/Low/Out, then re-anted to both and got one more card, declared, and repeat that add a card cycle two more times. Those guys were degens in the truest sense of the word.
