Admittedly I haven’t watched much this year, but he was one of the worst Skaters in the league in ‘21-22, then missed an entire year, and the metrics this year have zero positive interpretations. This is the one existing contract that should be non-negotiable. He cannot be on the roster for another season. Normally I would say he can be 13F for a year, but Tortorella isn’t going to sit him if he hasn’t already. It’s on Briere to remove the option.

I wonder what Danny does because it doesn’t make too much sense to pay to have him go away. Really tough decision

They have so much cap space that I'd rather them bury him in the AHL than buy him out.
