All the great ideas on these boards. Trade everyone who plays well and/or has value because throwing away your best players for possible future talent makes more sense. Get rid of the coach while we're at it because there's lots of Stanley cup coaches available.

You mean Claude Giroux who's outscored Tippett, a player 11 years younger and entering his prime, since the trade happened? So you're glad we gave up the still best player in the trade? Right Giroux is older and better. The Flyers could have given Giroux tippetts AAV just less term. It was a shit trade then and it's still a shit trade today

Edit:lol I just noticed the part about hating the Flyers. No I don't hate the Flyers but I can be critical about the team I like. And they've given me a lot more to be critical about in the past 13 years

Tippett can’t carry Giroux’s skates. Tippett can shoot the puck. Outside of that he brings very little to the table. Giroux is and will always be the more complete player.

They won by scoring 5. This was not a "defense" win.

Ha ha ha. Tippett is a one trick pony and when his skating goes, it's game over. He might be lucky to reach his mid 30s and still be an NHL player. Not a good one, am incredibly marginal and mediocre one. And it's sad because he has an incredible skill set, but he's as dumb as a bag of hammers.

I feel you. I had another youth hockey tournament last weekend, Sat - Mon. f***ing gross kids. Cesspools. Utter filth.

Was fine Tuesday. Coughed harshly all Wednesday, up all night. Thursday morning sprouted a 103.2 fever. Stuff coming out of any hole in the body. At 7:30pm I re-signed and phoned my CNP sister who phoned in Albuterol inhalter, Amoxicillan, Azithromycin, and Methylpresidone.

I feel like a f***ing rockstar right now though, like 85%? Hope you're feeling better soon man. Kids are so gross.
