I imagine the team is getting yelled at right now. I don't know if it's just a matter of being outclassed but whatever zone we've been hemmed in and have lost board battles all over the ice--our passing has been way off even when the passer has time/space and the intended receiver is open.....and then we're forcing plays too. It's been a real easy night for Halak.

I don’t think we’re playing that poorly. We don’t look overmatched or even close to it IMO. We’re missing two of our best players, I think we’re doing OK considering.

We’ve been ineffective offensively this far, but we all know this team can score two goals in a blink, even when they’re playing like shit. They’re still in this game, for sure.

Sometimes it’s just worth the 2 minutes. Besides we have been better even strength than on the PP this game.

Honestly our level of play would beat many teams on many nights. They haven't been as bad as people make it out to be. Don't expect to play Globetrotters hockey on the league's best team.
