The Athletic did an article on which young guy would be in the MIP range. LaCombe was an honorable mention.

Anyhow, Cronin denoted LaCombe was the Ducks' most improve player last year. Guess LaCombe can be it two years in a row.

Really nice win. After two atrocious periods, they came back with two very good ones.

Also, pretty much every player I trashed during the first period wound up contributing to the win. Way to make me eat crow, guys.

There's more fight than there was early in the season, a big part of improving as a team is just belief. I'm still extremely concerned about how some of our young players are being developed but winning matters, I don't care about draft position it's important for everyone's morale for the arrow to be pointing upwards

My biggest takeaway from this game is that a third line of Cutter-Z-Colangelo would be a lot of fun to watch.
