Sullivan gots to go!
So, following on post 1'st comments, Bortuzzo tried to join the group of guys playing terrible D, consisting now of him, Brooksie and Scuderi.
Martin fought hard, successfully, to get away from then and so did Nisky.
Maatta staying solidly in the positive.
Malkin's line checked in with some superb shifts, crowned by 71's beautiful goal, but they could have had several more.
Sid's line buzzed less, but his PP goal was worth the admission on its own. Still liking Gibbons a lot.
Sutter is getting chances, but this is actually one of those games where I agree with Cole and others criticism during the season - just too weak on the boards to not question the effort/battle level.
Adams was involved in a strong cycle with Engo and Megna, not too much of it his 'fault', but as with his assist in the first..... even if I am tempted... one cannot let it go without mention. Still an absolute traffic cone in our zone along with 15 - his twin in spirit.
Overall, mostly great 2nd period other than a few break downs where D-men took chances coming up ice with the puck and turning the puck over.
We aren't many on the Gibbons bandwagon, TR.
