That looked like a playoff period to me. It wasn’t pretty but both teams didn’t give an inch. What a turd of a period.
When Staal was fully healthy and had his young legs under him he played a very strong and physical game, controlled the blue line with a lot of open ice hits and got routinely involved with scufflesStaal ... really?! I'm very skeptical of that.
Kassian is a nut but we're supposed to be worried about Tkachuk according to him?

I would think they could only do that with home ice cameramen. I doubt Columbus would be interested in doing that.No iso cam on Panarin tonight I see. MSG dropped that gimmick quick.

He plays better with the flu lolSay what you want, Staal having a strong game.
Well your wrong. Staal and Sauer were both hard nose tough sobs to play Against.imma call major bs on that. As far as I'm concerned, it was Kasparaitis, then a void of softness, shot-blocking and not sticking up for your mates, then Lindgren/ADA and CO.
(except for Zucc, who I considered the toughest Rangers for many many years)
We get it. You want to suck ADAs Peepee.D is sorely lacking that dynamic skill of ADA. The more I see Fox in offensive situations he is really nowhere near as skilled offensively, makes smart plays but plays a dull game. Nowhere near as high octane, flashy and oozing skill as Tony. Miss seeing Tony faking guys out while dancing at the blueline
