Unbelievable, only concern is that Henke is getting cold over there in the deserted zone.

Good moves by Stralman this period too, he had some good shots on goal. Stralman reminds me at times of Lidstrom, he plays mistake free, safe with good passes. Now if he could only produce offense like Lidas and I would be ecstatic!

We need to sign him.

Anyone remember that game in St. Louis in 2001 or something? Where we finished the period up 2-0, outshooting STL 20-1 or something like that...and then during the second intermission, they realized that a shot Hlavac took with about 30 seconds left actually went in the net. So the score was changed to 3-0, and they replayed the last 30 seconds of the 1st.

But the cherry on top was that St. Louis got their only shot after the Hlavac play happened. So their shot was taken away, and then they didn't get another one in the replayed last 30 seconds, so they finished the period without a shot.

The Rangers being well rested and some Avs fatigue going into a back-to-back may provide part of the explanation, but this really was a dominating period. Hope they can keep it up in the 2nd, and don't let up.

I don´t want to see Callahan go. I bet most Rangers fans don´t want to see him go. However, he is not worth close to 7 million dollars for 7 years. Cally will not be the same players in four years, his style of play is way to psychical for him to be the same player in year 5 or so of the contract.
