Kuzmenko flashed some nice skill. Good for him to have more positives than negatives in his debut.

Looked like Michkov had a game to forget. Did the Abols-Couturier-Michkov line stick?

The Hathaway goal was very reminiscent of the Marc-Andre Fleury gaffe vs the US at the World Juniors.

All depends on how you look at it....
- they played without their top 3 offensive weapons (don't come back with Tippet, Poehling) and still doubled the Flyers shot total
- they played their back-up goalie
- they were on the second game of a back-to-back
- the Flyers needed one of the luckiest goals you will ever see just to keep it from overtime

Total 5v5 Shot attempts were 77-40 for pens. Scoring chances 40-21, HD scoring chances 17-6. xG was 3.25-1.55.

Throughly stomped from an analytical perspective. I passively watched this one, it didn’t seem quite as bad as the stats suggest to me, but nonetheless, that’s what they were.
