I mean I can personally attest to Shane Hnidy being a great guy and strong color commentator. Awful player. He's poked fun at himself about how bad he was for the Ducks on a few VGK-ANA broadcasts.

I mean. Midweek game against a weak opponent and no Carlsson vs. Fantilli storyline to spice it up.

Understand your point, but at their peak there really is no comparing Bieksa and Hnidy.
