The speed of the game from now on, goalies older than 34 will be at a disadvantage no matter what. The reflexes and athleticism of younger goalies can make up for so much especially if they have a bit of size. It'll always be a good policy to let 32+ goalies walk unless they want to sign a 2-3 year contract.
