I know it's different levels, but the way the Gulls PP (7th in the AHL I believe) and the Ducks PP works is just crazy. Gulls PP, players constantly moving around, swapping sides, give and goes etc, opens up so much space and tires out the PK unit as they can't just stay in a tight unit infront of the net.

Ducks PP all 5 players just stay static and refuse to move out of their assigned sector, doesn't open up shot chances, allows the PK unit just to stay camped infront of net. Makes it very, very easy to defend.

There’s a 95% chance of the replacement bothering us far more

Just be careful asking for a replacement for someone who, all things considered, does a good job and has earned a bit of leeway

Yes, there are better PBP broadcasters than Ahlers right now, but are any going to be brought in as his replacement? Highly doubtful
