Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Going to be more than that. 8X8 is nothing these days for a top pairing cornerstone player in their prime which it’s becoming obvious by the game that he is
I’m all for the wait and see game on other young guys right now, but not LaCombe
If you get the chance to lock up a 24 year old #1D for the rest of their prime, you do it

I actually like the idea of extending Lacombe long term now…
Not a seamless analogy but I watched the Brewers give a long term deal to Jackson Chourio before he ever played an MLB game and it looks like that’s going to a bargain for years to come.. if you believe in the player and your development staff, there’s advantages to doing it really early

LaCombe Has looked like a legit Top 4D. I remember when we were concerned when losing Henry Thrun. LaCombe was uncertain what he would become at the time. Really good stuff.

Got to the game laste, but saw both goals on Victory+ via Samsung tv... but that audio is delayed by a second. Team is moving the puck fast... LaCombe is moving the puck fast. I was amazed with the return pass back to Z for Z's goal. It looked even sweeter in slow-mo b/c the Bruin's goalie didn't even realize the puck was already being shot by Z as he was expecting LaCombe to have the puck and shoot it. That Vatrano pass-curl to the net-and-score felt like a designed play.

Yeah, I'm not usually a big gambler when it comes to contracts, but LaCombe has taken such a step forward, if you can lock him in long term at a decent price now....it probably opens up an extra spot in the cap for us when it comes to another of our young players that we would potentially have to trade usually.

Finally. Four Nations Face-off was fun and all, but the Ducks went into the break hot and all I wanted was them to get through it so we can get back to Ducks hockey. They keep playing like this, it’s gonna be an interesting March/April.

Fabbri plays like he has ADHD, constantly skating, taking himself out of position and causing the rest of the players on his line to scramble to cover that, leaving them open defensively.
