WTF is this multi-post stuff? It happened the other day to me also.

Maybe I just don't normally post in quick succession and it's this way for everyone?

How is defense harder than offense?
Oh that's easy. These kids come out of junior and they are all shoot and score put up big numbers. Teaching them how to prevent goals and play a disciplined system is much much harder. This is why it generally takes D men longer to develop than forwards and why center is generally more demanding than wing.

Just curious, if the point of playing in juniors is to develop future pros, why do none of these coaches teach the importance of defense? Do they teach it in Europe? Why do kids get to the highest level with all these bad habits?

Also, if all of these spoiled, entitled kids need to be taught how to play the right way, why do they get drafted so high? It's like offense matters or something, but that can't be right.

i'm waiting for the spin on this one
Isn't this what everyone wanted? You wanted them to tank, this is what tanking is. We traded away two players that have no future on this team and got back players the team wants to take a look at to see if they'll be key pieces moving forward. It doesn't matter that both players we got are waiver material. If you want to tank and rebuild, you need those type of players. You all asked for it, now you're getting it
