What I mean is they play the same type of game. If they bench Vandelvelde for Weal, I get it. You are adding offensive skill, but pulling offensive skill to add offensive skill is technically a lateral move.

Hak going with the interesting less offense and less useful player.

Bold strategy, lets see if it works out?

Agreed. He is a serviceable NHL dman. Makes no sense to have manning be a consideration over him.

MacDonald does a little bit of everything but does not stand out.

Medvedev and Manning cover a broader spectrum, Medvedev being an finesse player who likes to shoot the puck a lot and Manning primarily used in a more physical shut-down role.
... or maybe it's just that they like to have AMac with the Phantoms as a Veteran presence.

The only thing Manning shuts down is the Flyers offense when he's on the ice.

Read and Laughton out for Umberger and Weal

Just incredible short of injury to both or close to being traded. I knew there was no way Haks wouldn't get RJ back in. I am Reads #1 critic, but if this is made and he is healthy, this could be the stupidest move Haks has done yet

Thank god i've already accepted the fact that the season is over and they need to focus on landing Dubois, otherwise i'd have been really upset over this.

Taking Read and Laughts out ( if healthy scratches) for RJ and Weal, their target is a lot higher up than Dubois.

So like I said, this coach is a ****ing dumbass.

Laughton and Read replaced by UMBERGER and Weal, meanwhile **** stains White, Bellemare, and Vandevelde are safe and sound.

Hey Nick, show us what you got. Here is RJ and Weal as line mates :help:

He is supposed to be great for young guys, he sure makes it tougher on them to succeed.

Plus Meds still out for Man Cat:handclap:

I dunno, I think Gagner has been pretty good lately, basically the only guy on PP2 who can create anything...

His skating and shot were both very good in the game against Anaheim.

If we had other pieces to compliment him, he would do a good job running PP2.

Yeah I'm not going to even bother watching this one. The Hakstol line is probably going to play over 15 minutes in this one.

They weren't close to that total in the last two games despite the Laughton line getting limited minutes. I'd much rather see what Weal can do before the season's over than just keep sending Laughton out there to have his doors blown off. I wouldn't have scratched Read, but I'd not only scratch Laughton I'd send him down to the Phantoms.

Least ES TOI against Anaheim
Read 7:19
Raffl 7:26
Laughton 7:39
White 9:49
VdV 10:00
Bellemare 10:20.

Least ES TOI against Washington
Bellemare 9:49
Raffl 9:50
VdV 9:57
Cousins 10:12
Read 10:58
White 11:01
Laughton 11:10
