Appropriate time in the FLyers' schedule for Charon to make an appearance.

Jesus, they play the Isles AGAIN after this????

It’s hard to be less entertaining than a team coached by Torts, but Isles manage it with flying colours.

Even when they made that little run during Covid (and their team has barely changed since), they shit themselves and puked all over themselves getting there. I expect their fans are simply immune to it all now.

Division games mostly suck. I'd much rather play the West 32 times a season than go down to 16 so we have extra matchups with the Devils and Isles.

Even games vs Pit aren't that great anymore.

I want to remove the extra games against the other division in the East. There's no reason that the Flyers should play the Sabres the same amount of times that they play the Penguins. Leave the home and home with the West and mess with the conference.

Watering down division rivalries hurts the game.
Even when you're bad, it used to be fun to beat your division rivals, now it's just another game.
And the hate engendered by playing 4-6 times a season makes the games more fun.

I'd rather they just straight up remove Flyers games in general. This team should only play half as often as the rest of the league.

Counter point: I wish the Flyers played the Islanders 0 times a year.

There's no hate that comes with playing each other three times in a ~7 month long season like they are with the Rangers. It's a mockery as is especially when they claim that the playoff format is about RIVALRIESSSS.

The Flyers play the Sabres and Canadiens three times this year.

If they go up to 84 games

16 x 2 (32) vs West

7 x 4 (28) vs rest of the division

8 x 3 (24) vs the Atlantic teams

They’ve sucked any emotion out of the game, even if there are teams that are better than the Flyers.

I was never one of those rah rah fights/hits people but feel the game has lost really all of that Neanderthal edge that got me excited at times.

There’s parity sure, keeps people watching until 82 - but I kind of think the product has swung a bit too far to the other pendulum.

More games against the Islanders, and Penguins? Divisional opponents? I don’t know. I’d rather see guys from the West.

fights and hard hits is going away its been replaced by youth and skill..

of course the Flyers still think its the way to build a winner... they will be the VERY last franchise still grasping at meat n potatos gameplay...

The Flyers have two physical players on the roster, Hathaway and Seeler.
Foerster has size, same with Risto, and while they hit people, wouldn't call them classical bottom of the roster grinders.
That's about it, Sanheim has added strength, but will never be considered a physical D-man, same with Couts at forward.

Too many games, too many teams, too much emphasis on sponsors and betting and advertising, too much talking, too much sideshow content...

The essence of the game was lost to corporate greed a looooong time ago.

TK checks you high into the boards, and gives you a face wash.
