Does the double-backup have the right pads for the job, or does he need a tailor as well ,to make an NHL sized 5 hole?

Yeah, they both suck and will be lucky to ever see an NHL game unless they pay for the tickets.

Names =/= depth.

Yeah they suck but they can just stand there and be a body on the bench tonight much like LeNeveu is gonna be. I don't know why they needed to sign one.

The Rangers have Hank, and as his backup, Talbot, who has been playing well beyond what is expected of a backup goalie. That's depth. The third guy who needs to sit on the bench on the one night a year that Hank is physically ill isn't an issue of depth. It'd be an AHL player on the bench tonight if weather weren't unusual today, like almost every other team in the league would have to field in similar conditions.

Manufacturers have been making pad width NHL spec for years. The new rule added this year had nothing to do with pad width, and everything to do with thigh-rise which is relevant to player height.

Then what's Missaen doing in Florida?

I just don't understand how we got LeNeveu here and couldn't get anyone else here.

Miss got assigned to the ECHL in Florida, Stacjer is in Greenville in the ECHL. LeNeveu was the guy that could get here in the snow since he was sitting in Hartford.

Missiaen is with Greenville. Stajcer was loaned to Florida of the ECHL, presumably because there wasn't enough room in Greenville.

God damn so Leneveu was starting in Hartford? Those two are worse than I thought :laugh:

Kinda disappointed. I wanted to sign a local 51 year old beer league D-man like Minnesota and Vancouver did so they would interview him on NHL tonight.

Anybody read the isles pre-game thread? Pretty funny stuff if you ask me. But like the other poster said here: I'm worried the isles will be more fired up to beat the Rangers than the other way around.

Yeah Hartford was rolling with two vets on PTOs. It was pretty grim.

Lol when is the last time a PGT was this busy before puck drop.

Hagelin will surely score today

Team is playing consistent good hockey for the first time all season.

Coming out flat against a subpar Isles team will go a while to set back the new feeling around the team, so I expect the Rangers to come out hard.
