Isles got the momentum and Talbot has been shaky, it's their game to lose at this point. Giving them too much space.

He hasn't been shaky, he just isn't coming up with a big save when it's important (like the last save Poulin made on Nash in a tie game minutes before the 2nd period ended).

Talbot is an excellent goaltender if you limit scoring chances and let him see the puck, and because of that, he is the ideal back up (at least now), I still haven't seen him steal a game for the Rangers.

He is a goalie who plays well enough to win when the Rangers play well. He is reliable. You know what you're getting from him. And he's been important backing Lundqvist this season.

This game reminds me of that one game last season against them where we had a 2-0 lead, blew it and lost in the shootout. We all of a sudden forgot how to play defense.

That was as bad of a defensive effort as the Rangers have had since their opening season road trip.

I think Zuccarello dropping down to the 4rh line is messing up the lines. We seem a bit out of sync. There is no flow from line to line.

He's a back-up goalie. This isn't Hank we're talking about. I don't expect anything from the back-up goalie other than to keep us in the game. Which is exactly what he's done.

I agree. He's been pivotal in that role. If he hadn't been there to back stop the team while Lundqvist was getting his game together, we'd be even further down the standings.

I'm not bashing him in the slightest. He gives the team a chance to win.

Even today he has. He hasn't gotten any support tonight.

It could be worse than 3-3 right now. Girardi has been brutal. McDonagh also hasn't been too hot tonight.
