5 shots? It's McBackup. Throw shots from everywhere, get close to him, make him nervous. We seem to be playing with a little more desire than in many of our losses, but we've not tested him and our passing is letting us down all over the ice. A bit too much stickhandling through numerous opponents too. I don't mind seeing it from time to time, but it was a lot in the first (maybe cos we couldn't pass).
Decent from Grabner and Nash again. Just perfect, our best forwards of the last little while won't be here for long.

All I read how he’s coming into his own. It’s total nonsense. Another guy who always gets a pass.

Yes, Mika really is a disappointment. I always looked at his serial-injury scenario, and chalk it up to interruptions and recovery times, but I'm getting tired of that excuse wheel too.
To me, it just shows the state of this team, regardless of injuries and players missing. The whole picture needs a reset.

Incredible. Kevin Hayes got absolutely destroyed on here in the past (some merited some not). Everyone just in love with the "potential" of the mika trade. Injuries or not guy has obviously not been the same since that last concussion .

Unfortunately, Mika is part of the reset. I mean we supposedly robbed the sens on that trade right???
No one wants to give up on him but he is a big boy. Its not his first year in the league or his first coach hes playing under.

All while letting the players figure it out for themselves..

They are playing a perfect road game, and they do seem to know their opponent well. Credit to the Leafs, nothing else to say.

As I type, it's 3-0.
