Difference in this game is goaltending.

Capitals have had better chances, and are losing 4-1. Neither goaltender for Washington has been able to make a good save yet. Literally, every good shot has beaten them, and even a few mediocre shots have.

This isn't a game we're winning 4-1 if the opposition even has adequate goaltending.

I'll take it though.
 
It is quite amazing how Rangers have kicked up their special teams play, three of four goals tonight by special teams (Yes, technically the third goal was even strength).

I remember the PP under Torts, couldn't get a goal even if the opposing goalie had left the stadium to get a hotdog.

makes you realize just how bad torts and sully were with special teams.

So Rangers is exploiting weak goaltending very well and is up 4-1 before the halfway mark, but you still manage to turn it to something negative? C'mon man...
 
anybody else realize this team is a -3 GD entering. I never thought wed get out of the massive hole we put ourselves in the beginning of the season

Im not turning it into a negative. I love that we are winning. I just dont know if we deserve the substantial lead we have.
