You know Neil was gonna finish his checks and try to start something, especially because they’re down.
It was going to get a little chippy but I thought we did a good job of keeping our cool and staying out of the box.
- Marc Staal

I think that’s the attributes of a great hockey team when you can get goals from every line on any given night that’s how you’re going to win games.
We knew we had to roll four lines and play with a lot of speed to keep up with their transition game. We did an unbelievable job tonight.
- Cam Talbot

I thought we played a real smart road game. We managed the puck well, we did a real job in the 1st period of eliminating any transition play they might have.
They’re a real good speed team and they’ve got great transition with a couple of their Ds that join the rush.
By taking that away I think it enabled us to spend a little bit more time in their end and we were able to capitalize on a couple of opportunities.
- Alain Vigneault

Glad it is on NBCSN. Didn't want to have to watch the caps feed.

Also I am glad this team is finally playing well and clicking....................................................... just in time for the olympic break :shakehead

Yep, the game that they pretty much blew us out I was in DC and had to watch the Caps feed, Joe B is unbearable. So glad he doesn't do national games anymore.

Honestly, I don't know what feed would be worse. The bias on NBCSN games are sometimes worse than opposing feeds.

Beninati is annoying, but I can handle his voice a whole lot easier than a sixty-something year old jock sniffer with an on-line thesaurus who screeches like a schoolgirl every time the Rangers get scored upon.

I actually thought Beninati was really good on VS the short time he was there. He was very neutral and called a good game. I don't like him doing the caps though. McLoughlin I really can't stand.

Ovechkin had almost as many goals by himself as our top 3 goal scores have combined.
Yes, but he is Alex Ovechkin, he gets paid 9 mill a year, and...oh...wait :p:

If i recall, in our last match we had fairly good control on him, hopefully the guys will step up and do a repeat of that :)
