I want my Assistant Captain to not stand there like a fool when the actual captain gets wiped out. Jeez Hodgson just standing there too. Bah

Player plays well in NHL. Player plays great in AHL. Player's not NHL-ready because Leino has had some good games.

Right.

couldnt understand the argument in the first place huh? not suprising

lemme type it slowly and plainly so you can understand it

players have good games, that doesnt mean theyll have a good career

how about MAG plays great in the AHL plays well in the NHL, sucks balls

edit: i better edit this so you dont get confused, he's having a good game, lets slow down on penciling him into the top 7

Can you type it slower?

You were being argumentative for no reason. Ruhwedel is playing a good game. That's what Stokes' post laid out. He is a prospect with NHL upside who has developed well and not looked out of place at any point since he was signed.

YOU missed the point because you wanted to be argumentative.

He said he was an NHL player...not upside.

So because someone said he can play in the NHL, they're penciling him into the top 7?

well unless NYR start rolling 4 d pairings ya thats what Im assuming you mean when you say NHL, that he can make onto on NHL roster, if you menat spend his whole career in the AHL and come up on occasion for terrible hockley clubs well I completely agree hes there already

He said Ruhwedel can play in this league.

I guess i didnt realize he meant in the "he can physically tie his skates and stand on the ice" ya hes totaly right Ruhwedel has successfully stood on the ice during an NHL game, something I will never do and I am jealous, hopefully someday he will earn the right to be there on a regular basis

Funny story about that....he was once called a "top 4 NHL defenseman" by none other than Jame :biglaugh:

But this situation is a little different. Sulzer's been through a number of different organizations as a #7 who then cut bait with him either by trade or by not resigning. Multiple organizations before he got here decided he wasn't good enough for an NHL job. Sulzer was 27 when we got him, while Ruhwedel is 23 and in his first full season of professional hockey.

You're comparing apples and oranges.
