Fair. They do not pressure so we SHOULD be able to escape the zone with speed and catch them flat footed before they set up their wall.
I think their best and maybe only chance to gain the zone is to win the initial faceoff.

Against 4 guys standing at the line? It would be risky to attack as unit. Potential to give a oddman rush the other way is too high.

Dump it in and use our speed to get the puck back.

They are being VERY passive. We have to counter that by making them turn around and chase us. We have the speed and the grit to do it. I do not understand why we do not. We always struggle against passive teams.
Our Third Line and Geno's line have been playing fine and getting chances..... It's Crosby's line because no one wants to skate and Simon insists on holding onto the puck with four guys on him and the fourth line which is a complete and utter mess.

Run Geno and the third line over and over. The other two aren't getting it done.

In all honesty the way they were playing was unsustainable considering how many injured players they have. I chalk it up to a combination of regression toward the mean and Sully having to use weird line combinations in the absence of Guentzel and now Kahun.

it just makes zero sense. I don’t care that we’re losing this game. The pens for the 25-30 games he missed gave you 60 minutes no matter what. We lose this we’re still 3-2 in his 5 games back.... but besides the Wild game we’ve been **** in all the others.

I hate this board often part 2
Pretty sure Crosby bankrupted he and Richard's families, stole their businesses, and had their kids put into the foster care system for good measure.

They pretty much never have anything good to say about 87.

Jeez, some of you people must be miserable all the time. Relax for a second, this team has played a ridiculous amount of hockey this month.

I’m bummed that there won’t be any hockey for 10 days after this, and I don’t know what I’ll do without it, but that’s not going to stop me from turning this **** of a game off...the boys really don’t deserve our attention tonight...

That’s such a cop out. The Flyers have played one less game in that time, and this is their fourth game in seven days.

You’re right, the Flyers have been playing at 130% since November with most of their top players out just like the Penguins.

The team is exhausted. Deal with it or piss off.

Pens have played hard and just a nice break is so needed for this team. In addition, getting back Schultz, Bjugstad, Kuhny, eventually Dumo is close to the team to be a tough out. Now a very good forward added at or before the TDL to have four capable lines is paramount. The question is who and at what cost.

Certainly a big part of it BUT a massive reason is Letang, JJ and MP can't break out a puck to save thier lives atm.

Reality is settling in on this D.
Letang really needs to get his shit together on this break and i hate that he's going to the ASG.

When the f*** is Dumoulin back. Getting tired of Rik and Johnson f***ing shit up. And really tired of Letang losing his mind.
