The Leafs are losing (2-1 in the 3rd to Arizona) and the Senators are behind Dallas midway through the 3rd. If both lose, the Flyers jump over both. And would be 9 points out of a playoff spot.

Tbf this year I don't see much separation between ~#6 and ~#12 in terms of player ability. I think 1-5 is set as McDavid, Eichel, Hanifin, Marner and Strome.

But ofc if we are going to miss the playoffs it would be nice to have more players to pick from...
