I’m gonna go with the most depressing moments as being the ones seeing Staal’s number and realizing it’s still Staal’s number.

If they are obligated to retire a Brendan Smith uniform, I can't think of an alternative, better Brendan Smith to give it to.

Hanks earned the next one. Def got lucky with some of those ugly rebounds but overall he’s earned the next start. Imo you should play till you lose anyway unless it’s a back to back situation

Yeah. I mean, I suppose they could call it something else but he would appear, to this not-a-doctor, to have some sort of brain injury. Again, possibly minor but I guess the Rangers are making a distinction between “concussion” and getting his bell rung. To me they’re the same. I think it’s a bit disingenuous to call it anything other than a concussion. Unless they’re really being honest, which I think is the least credible option.
