Well that was a **** game. Another one to add to a disappointing streak. Team seriously needs to wake the hell up and only has two more games to do it. Just too bad we have to wait to bag skate this bunch until after tomorrow's game.

I'm not so sure about that. Yes, Gardiner has a potential to be a top pairing guy, but his defensive game wouldn't make a difference at all. Nor would that be the case the Liles as well.

Both will be extensively used. It's not like we haven't been able to successfully active high offense teams. In fact, we usually had a more difficult time containing the Stamkos - Vinny tandem. I think it has a lot to do with St Louis.

I dont know whats good about it. I'm not a Crosby fan but I want the guy who deserves each trophy the most to win it and Crosby was fan and away the best player this season.

Crosby is a good guy and a good player, but the whining of pittsburg fans I know makes it worth it. No way of telling if Crosby was going to keep his pace either, he's gotta stop missing so many games

We need a scapegoat that's probably why, if Kostka is blamed tonight, put him 4th in line, I counted at least 3 other defencemen that were worse tonight.

Kostka played better than O'Bryne and Fraser today. Although this is one of the few bad games Fraser had. Fraser is one of our most solid defenceman, I'm just saying he had a bad game.
The Leafs did not lose because Kostka was playing.

Kostka was also +1 this game.

This is one of those games where you can't blame Kostka (besides him looking incredibly slow). Those goals were all on Gunnarson and Phaneuf.

yeah NO... kostco gave it away in the corner on the 2nd tb goal when the 1st line was all over them, his giveaway resulted in the goal. how is the fraser goal on gunnarson and phaneuf? dion and gunnar got beat twice.

Why are people blaming Carlyle? We missed like three goals, hitting the posts wasn't good enough, we need that puck in the net. We gotta bury those chances, that's what makes a contender, scoring on the chances we are given. Those ther two chances by Grabo and Frattin also was needed.

it would have been nice to win tonight, not so much for the home ice, but to give us breathing room on the Islanders.

we just need to get 3 points to stay 5th. or. you know the Isles lose one of two games. or both. their last game is Friday.

everyone is playing NOW, so they are game ready for playoffs. hence: gardiner wil probably be in like you said, and we'll probably see the Playoff roster on Saturday.

Honestly though. For the poeple who kept saying take Orr and Mclaren out for Frattin and colbourne for the playoffs, look at this game. Orr and mclaren are scoring about the same number of goals as colbourne, mac, grabo, and frattin. 0 goals. Atleast orr and Mclaren bring more to the table. Guys were taking runs at our players as well today. We win more with Orr and Mclaren in too lol. ill be happy to have orr and mclaren on the 4th line

Why talk out your ass? The Colborne/Frattin fourth line was quite good all game long. Had good puck possession, created scoring chances, and weren't scored against.
