I hope Carlyle realizes not to scratch BOTH Liles and Gardiner against an offensive juggernaut/one of the fastest teams in the league. The defense was eaten alive tonight, especially Franson/Fraser.

Also, despite lowering our GA in the first half of the month, the last four games we've allowed 16 goals...

BayStBullies 3 Stars:
1 - Kessel
2 - Lupul
3 - Colborne

Bottom of the Leaf pile:
1 - Komarov
2 - Fraser
3 - Kostka

Crosby has another season where he gets close to the Ross but doesn't get it. good

3 goal posts
couple of bad pinches
let a team who hasn't won in like seven games - win.
gave Marty St Louis a hat trick and scoring lead
gave Goudas his 2nd ever goal. (after we gave him a first ever goal)

I'd say the Slumpbusters were in FINE form. :)

Meh. I aint even mad.

The more we DONT shoot...we win.
Also, the loss of great scorers ORR and MCLAREN was missed. lol. WE NEED MORE ORR AND MCLARENN

Actually we do. These guys score about as much as Grabo,Mac and Frattin of late.

I don't knoew why they keep playing Kostka? Too many better options for him to be on then ice. Whole game was sloppy though.

Glad I turned this off and switched to Top Gear when I did. You knew when we hit the three posts that we were not winning that game. Some days, there's a higher power up there (hockey gods) that simply doesn't want you to win and you won't. This was one of those days.

I guess the bright side is that if we win tomorrow, it'll seem normal, since we always lose the second game of the back to back. Tomorrow is an absolute must win though.

No big deal, was a game of inches, 3 posts, the bolts got a bunch of lucky bounces and we're still 5th.

Onto the next one.

Gunnerson was brutal. Tsn showed the st.louis points from tonight and every one there was the 36 standing around looking lost. He is scary to have on the top d pair. Yikes.

The way our defence gave the puck away tonight, mostly Gunnar and Dion, we should have dressed Jake Gardiner or Liles, they would have been right at home in a game like tonight's.

Defence played like Honest Ed's free turkey giveaway day.

Bright spot was the play of Frattin, and Colborne showing good signs he can play.

Other than that, after 3 days off and clinching, a game like this is not unexpected.

Dion was beaten like a red headed stepchild. Everyone gave up after the Gudas goal, and the ice surface was terrible.

Even though they were not the worst pairing on the ice, I have no idea why Carlyle would put two of our slower defencemen together like O'Byrne and Kostka.

Blaming this on the coach is stupid.

We hit three goalposts, we played well early on but really couldn't contain Stamkos, MSL and Vinny. That's game right there.

I'm not too worried, I'm sure we'll bounce back against Florida tomorrow night. Let's hope the Jets and the Flyers win tomorrow.
