But there's really no reason to wandering into the opposing team's forum, particularly in a GDT during the game other than to troll or report back to your fellow fans and make fun of them.

I disagree. I quite often will go into an opposing GDT to find out what the game looks like from the other perspective. As long as you understand that the people in that thread are very much going to be cheering for their team and probably saying some nasty things about yours and you don't do something stupid like comment in that thread about it, there's no reason that you shouldn't take a peek. During the game, you most often don't have any reason to comment in an opposing GDT, but there's nothing wrong with reading the thread. Just be respectful about it and thick -skinned and you'll be fine.

Don't act like you wouldn't be ecstatic and defending your team if they had won the cup the last couple of years regardless of circumstances. Good on most TB fans for ignoring it.
