This is remarkable now....last year vs Isles, 2 nights ago now this. The Isles one was remotely understandable, they let of the gas thinking after they outscored them 10-0 in the 5 periods prior the Isles were broken but still shows Cooper has weaknesses for sure motivating that team at times
 
What the eff is Hedman doing staying out for over TWO MINUTES on a shift where he could have changed? And right at the end of the period?

What stupid play.

The D and Vasi aren't there this post season. Last two years, Tampa wins both of these games easily after going up 2-0. Just don't have the same shutdown ability as they used to.
 
I don't like blaming goalies but sharp angle and visible all the way should probably be stopped...
 
That's easily the worst goal I've seen Vas let in all series. Still a tie game though. It's a coin flip at this point. I don't expect Tampa to be rattled by that.

Matthews isn't the best player in the NHL.
He is on a shortlist for 2nd best though.

Matthews also had the best season of all skaters this year, I think.
