Igor was pretty spectacular all night. We didn't have our best game, but sometimes you need your goalie to steal one for you.
We weren't at our best, but we found a way to grind through it. We gave up way too many shots, way too many chances, but he was there so I give him a lot of credit.

Just his athleticism, he’s strong, he plays hard on every puck.

For what it’s worth the practice lines today were:

Panarin - Zibanejad - Kreider
Lafreniere - Chytil - Blais
Hunt - Rooney - Goodrow

Kakko out until next week. Strome still in covid protocol.

Some combination of Reaves, Gauthier, McKegg and Barron will be the fourth line tomorrow.

Vince said it was Gauthier Barron Reaves doing the final drills of practice.

I just dont get why they break up that 4th line that was working well.

They’re basically promoting Rooney and Hunt to the third line and plugging in the AHLers with Reaves.

Reaves has been our best player. They are probably thinking he can carry the fourth line himself. Less pressure on Barron.

It’s probably about ice time. If they keep the fourth line together, which has been great, then they have to plug two AHLers with Goodrow. That would kneecap Goodrow’s ice time, because you don’t want to play the AHLers anymore than you have to.
 
Does KK have a concussion? Or was it something else?
 
Would be an absolutely huge two points if they could gut out another one.

We need that top line to go bonkers and the rest to keep the puck out of the net.

Start Shesty. There is absolutely no reasoning not to.
