What did people expect after the team found out their starting goalie has to go to Ontario to give himself in to the police?

Philadelphia wouldn't be Philadelphia if there wasn't some kind of drama.

What's next...news that Danny owes thousands of dollars in unpaid parking fines for parking his Lexus in handicapped spots throughout the city?
I have it on good authority that Morgan Frost is actually the long island killer, and his benching are the result of him being late to practice.

Laughton was great at taking penalties tonight.

For a flat team, Flyers out played Detroit by a wide margin, this wasn't a "blown out of the building game," this was "we couldn't finish a play to save our lives."

Frost went MIA after a great run, hopefully a one game thing.
Can't blame Deslauriers for this one.
Lycksell once again looked like he belonged, unlike last season.

6-7-2 last fifteen games, 77 point pace.

The decisions to keep him several times instead of trade him for a 1st (plus?) looks worse every day.
He's been on a downslide for a few years, but I don't think he's as cooked as his metrics are showing. I'm not saying he's been effective, he hasn't, but I think he's better than this....Maybe not. But I doubt he can return a 1st at this point.

I wouldn't be surprised if Laughton had a nagging injury.
York has really fallen off, "Hart is York's roommate and best friend, he said."
Which may explain some of it, that would be a heck of a distraction.

Laughton was used as a clear cut top 4/5 forward last season. Only Allison and Deslauriers scored less in comparable 5v5 minutes.

His 43 points were artifice based around a ton of unsustainable non-5v5 scoring on a poor team. Truly, I can't think of a more sensible pump and dump in recent Flyers history. I agree, it's hard to believe he's this bad, and he's had some weird years with solid scoring and bad play-driving, but he's getting the shit end in both right now. It's almost impossible to believe his value didn't peak.
