Our our guys often stand in front of the guy and keep looking back. By the time they look back its too late once the other team has the puck on their stick. Dylan gets behind them or to the side and just starts leaning on them till they are behind the net.

Even if they're not generating shots, them playing aggressive is making Buffalo move the puck 200 feet. That's the right way to do it.

With 4:32 left in the game, McIlrath was on the ice for 17% of the Sabres shot attempts, and 46% of the Rangers shot attempts at 5v5.

Considering his lack of ice time, that's remarkable.
