I've spent the past year cutting down ZAR being in the lineup. Maybe everyone is gonna fully get on that boat.

Like dude just had to get it deep, but throws it the wall giving Ottawa and odd man break and great opportunity.

I honestly think ZAR is getting worse

It’s honestly the style of game the Pens play right now. It’s a lot of dump ins and use the boards, teams know this and cut the Pens off. They don’t skate out of their own zone with the puck and utilize the neutral zone as much anymore, so you see the usual defenseman passing back and then utilizing the player along the boards and then they skate up and dump it along the boards.

Sometimes it works, but if you have the players that can catch it and use it against this team, boy does it look bad when it gets turned over because then it becomes a benny hill themed nightmare of Pens players chasing around or standing around in their own zone.

Maybe I’m being a bit harsh.

I wish he gave the same opportunity to players like Angello who are more deserving or hell, I would love to see Bellerive up for the 4c spot and sit Boyle here and there. Bellerive has that bite to his game and enough skill to make that 4th line interesting for how disgustingly vanilla it is at the moment.

But he didn't dump it. Thats the problem. He choose to make an east/west pass to no one. If he dumps it in, its not a clean breakout for Ottawa.
